I don't want to read it because I want to listen to the album without preconceptions and with an open mind. On the other hand, as much as I respect Rich, I disagree with some of his views on DT's albums. He called BC&SL (an album where you can't hear the bass at all and with some of the worse lyrics John Petrucci ever penned) "their most solid effort since SFAM". I will still read Rich's review, but after I've heard the album myself  Grin

Rich seems to have enjoyed the album very much. I think you'll like the review when you read it! Smiley

If the link won't open, try it without "user". That's how it worked for me.

And man, that sample only makes me urge for more!!!

Mike Portnoy recalling their first impression about James: Pulled out his picture and he had the look we were looking for. "Wow, this guy's really good-looking too, man." You know, he had a great voice and he looked good.. "He must be an asshole."

Damn, that is sounding good.  Also - there was an interview with James from the High Voltage festival, and that had intro/outro riffs that must've been from the album.

It's all sounding very, very groovy...!

Actually that was Raw Dog that they did for the God of War soundtrack. It was the last thing they recorded with MP.
