don't worry about it. I should have said something about it sooner. If anything it just proves that I'm a little OCD about the tour dates.

BTW Laura, I've been reporting the tour dates since the 8V album Smiley

My guess is they are originally posted after each show on www.mikeportnoy.com/forum by Weymolith

yes i use Mikes forum AND when Wey can't seem to get it with in 24 hours... I tend to go to Setlist.fm (www.setlist.fm/setlists/dream-theater-bd6a102.html)

btw laura you can call me Ash Wink so you don't have to type w34vi1 all the time Smiley

Hey everyone,

I'm back to the forum... Once I was TheSurrounded and some might remember me. Hey Donna, I'm back!
Well, I came back to talk about the Rio de Janeiro's concert, which was increadible! As you have the setlist, I won't repeat it. However, the setlist was more than that, I mean, Solitary Shell was folowed by an increadible instrumental session, in which Mike created sounds in the iron parts of his drumms.

James said "this is our last night in Brazil and we want to finish with a blast"! And indeed thay did. The public was crazy, everybody singing every single word and sometimes it was dificult to hear James' voice, for it was an 5.000 people chorus! And James, what can I say, perfect as always... thank you James! I rocked our night!

In my opinion, Curitiba and Rio had the best setlist (not that the others were bad), but it was very heavy, and Petrucci and Mike realy wanted to rock, despite beeing that the last night of a serie of shows. The first DT concert I attended to was in 2005, after beeing a fan since 2000. Dt was missing here since 1997, and all the country was waiting for them. It had a great atmosphere and untill today has an emotional appeal to me, but last saturday was the best, maybe because I like BC&SL more than Octavaruim. (again, not that 8varuim is bad...)

Check out the videos my brother in law made, not in hight quality, but gives an good idea of the night and the instrumental parts...

Laura - I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I began a thread when we "converted" to this Board :
http://www.jameslabrie.com/forum/index.php?topic=19.0
It's basically if you would like to write a message to James and express your feelings.  Now...I did put a  little "warning" on it, and I will repeat it here:  Please be respectful to James AND HIS FAMILY / PERSONAL LIFE.  This is NOT a thread I created for these crazy ladies who go around screaming "You're hot!  I wanna have your 15 love children!!!"  I would like to think we are a bit more mature than this.   Wink Cheesy  I created it with the intent that if you want to express appreciation for the music and the singing, then go right ahead.  We know he comes here and reads when he has time, so who knows?  He could read your messages as well......
