I wanted to go to the Atlanta show, but my father couldn't get off work that day to take me. Sucks not having a license. It also sucks not seeing Dream Theater in person yet. ;_;

I look forward to next year. :>

tell me about it... I've been reporting these tour dates, for this forum since the 8V world tour set... and in that time they haven't been in my area... I have a license, but its the driving down Interstate-5 that's the hard part (its the most dangerous interstate on the west coast, and trust me as someone who drove it a lot, i believe it)
It'd be great if they came to Nashville, so it would only be a 30 minute drive for me. Having to drive 4 or 5 hours to see a concert is insane. I'm sure it's worth it though, since it's Dream Theater. :3

Yeah its hard to do the huge trip to see them, for the most part it would be worth it.

Gelsenkirchen (how did you pronounce this James  Grin Wink) June 24th, 2009

In The Presence of Enemies Pt1
Beyond This Life
Take The Time (short)
A Rite Of Passage
Hollow Years
Caught In A Web
Erotomania
Voices
Solitary Shell
Forsaken
As I Am

Medley Metropolis/ Learning To Live/ The Crimson Sunset...

  Shocked
One of the best DT shows I've seen since 1995 !  Cool Great location, beautiful weather as well   Cool
The band was on, James was f*cking amazing in fact all of them were !!
They seemed to have such fun on stage and enjoying the great crowd in Gelsenkirchen...
The instrumental parts were awesome and so relaxed ! JP once sat down for a while before Mike's kit and played !
Funny thing was, behind the stage there was a canal, where a lot of people watched the show from the sides and during the songs Mike would stand up and wave to us and then turn around and greet the people behind him   Cheesy
I'm uploading some vids and post them here later.
THANK YOU  James, Mike, John, Jordan and John for the awesome amazing show which will not be forgotten for a loooong time !!

Had an awesome time with my hubby, Jasja (some of you remember her) and Mark (better known as DT's webmaster) !

I have two more vids with Voices and Solitary Shell (extended version) and the second with medley Metropolis pt 1/ Learning to Live/The Crimson Sunset, but they are both too long (427 mb and 247 mb) to upload, sorry  Cry
