Well they played an amazing version of Caught in a Web - one which LaBrie has struggled to sing in recent years, but all fans there were blown away at the preciseness of his singing - he didnt need to go an octave lower at any parts etc - he sounded VERY much like he did on Awake, and hit the high notes perfectly, similarly with Voices and Metropolis - it put a shiver down everyones spine!

At the same time I love the way that LaBrie is clearly embracing new styles for him, his vocals at the gig were very 'James Hetfield like' at times!

Although the highlight of the night was the 'lying down Zen Riffer and Guitar jam' check it on youtube if you get a chance EPIC!!!

how cool...
too bad Caught in a Web can't seem to be anywhere on YouTube... I'd like to hear it much

and yeah, I was amazed at how James doesn't really need to struggle for both high and low notes... it all just flows incredibly smooth, precise and seemingly effortless

rock on James! Rock on DT!

I think I might be led into temptation to catch another DT show in the fall...

Hello Tomodo -
I should apologize, actually.  I was trying to send you a PM at mp.com, in order to get your permission to post the link.   Undecided

Thanks for signing in to this Board though!   Smiley  Your pics are wonderful, and we are keeping track of the tour here.  MP.com and DTF.org links will be posted along with our own here.   Thanks for letting us see your pics!
