Hoping to see They Might Be Giants here in Austin February 2012.

I know what you're thinking, 'cause right now I'm thinking the same thing. Actually, I've been thinking it ever since I got here: Why oh why didn't I take the BLUE pill?

I've had quite an amazing row of concerts these days!

Tonight I'll see Opeth (3rd time) and Pain of Salvation (1st time). I really like PoS and look forward to that show.

My last concerts have been:

Nov. 20: Evanenescence
Nov. 22: Marillion and Saga (I love both bands)
Nov. 24: Ray Wilson
Nov. 29: Yes

And on December 9th I saw the German band Sylvan. They're excellent!!! I recommend it to you all!

Before that, on December 7th, I attended another Ray Wilson concert, but this time acoustic. He's such a nice guy that he even put me on the guest list when I told him I didn't have money to attend  Grin

Though November was one of the busiest times in my life, I found time for Iced Earth show.

It was their very first show in Russia, so they even play 2 more songs than usual. And one of them is my fave from the new album - Days of Rage. New vocalist is great! He can sing both Barlow and Ripper part perfectly. Jon Schaffer rocked hard through the whole gig. Finally I heard and saw his playing live!  Cheesy
Also, it was the first time ever, when I bought meet-n-greet ticket. There were only 4 people. Good side - we had enough time to chat with Freddie and Jon.  Wink

I'm not me without concert pics, right?  Grin

Apparently Van Halen is playing in Nashville in April. I've never seen them before, so I really want to go. Only problem is that it's at the Bridgestone Arena and the tickets are bound to be some ridiculous price.

G. Verdi's "La Traviata" - January 14th. Brigitte Geller (as Violetta Valéry) is simply enchanting.
Dream Theater - January 30th. Can't wait Smiley.

Wow  Shocked

I was going to ask you if you were going to see them again after Berlin, like in Hanover. I'm tempted!

@ Henry
We considered two options: Berlin + Hannover or Berlin + Paris and have chosen the second option. My son has school vacation, in the period January 30th to February 5th, and I think it would be interesting for him to see his favorite band (Dream Theater) in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. But I'm also really looking forward to the concert in Berlin. Can't wait Smiley. See you there.

I highly recommend that anyone in the US check to see if Scale the Summit's first ever headlining tour is hitting a city near you.
I've got my ticket for Feb 6 in Denver.  They will be sure to deliver 80 minutes of progressive instrumental rock excellence.

1 Dream Theater - Feb 9th, Manchester!

I have been very lucky to have been sent on an official trip to the UK when DT are on tour! I otherwise might never have a chance in my life to watch them live - India is not on the DT tour radar yet I guess. My managers here at work have been gracious enough to grant me a off day - one of 'em is coming along too ! Just done booking the tickets !

2 Thinking of 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show' - Mar 1st, Sheffield (the venue is just a two minute walk from the apartment I live) Has anyone here watched them before?

3. Jo Bonamassa - 24th March - gotta book a off day at work!
