Um.....there is a DVD in the ADTOE deluxe edition....while it is not a concert DVD, it is still a huge effort on the part of DT to bring us the news of their process of selecting a new drummer...... Wink

True, but those videos have been available on the You Tubes for quite a while now.  Not trying to be a buzzkill, just sayin...

I personally would like to see another dvd in the vein of Chaos in Motion. Loved the rawness and the inside of the DT machine. Granted, the audio mix was bad, but the video and documentary were really enjoyable.

I was a little disappointed that the Anaheim show had basically the same set list that they did at the Los Angeles show, but I was pleased that they replaced The Great Debate with Outcry.  The sound was also MUCH better than in LA (except for the couple of times that they didn't have James's mike on when he started singing).  The bass REALLY cut through.

As for DVDs, while MP did a lot of the post-production work (and was largely responsible for most of the "bonus" footage things), it's not as though he handled the actual filming.  For example, Rush puts out live DVDs with great regularity nowadays, but I doubt any of the band members have much to do with those.  In any event, there was no filming at the Anaheim show.  I suspect we'll have to wait unti MM is a bit more firmly situated in the band.

this should not have been a big surprise... the setlists have been reported from the beginning.

and something I've noticed about James' mic stand, it appears to be very picky.

I thought they might be mixing up the setlist on this "mini extension".  Had they really mixed it up, I had considered making the trip to AZ.  Once I saw it was basically the same, I decided not to go (although I still would have loved it!).
