Nice of them to skip Ottawa.
I guess we got them last year at Bluesfest, but still.

You do have a free day on the 9th James, send the busses with all the big stuff to Boston, and come do a club show in Ottawa. Small set, small set up.

just a thought.

I'm still waiting for Denver to fill the gap between SLC and Chicago.  Otherwise, I'm flying to Salt Lake City!!!

Grin Grin Grin  Got my tickets for the show in Chicago in October!  Can't wait to hear the band with MM and Rosemont is THE place to see them, imho.  Center section, row three.......balcony.....yes, I prefer to be back a ways to see the whole stage and hear the whole sound!  Can't wait!

I thought about such places several times... But after that always bought standing fan-zone tickets  Grin
Can't help it - I love to be in the first row Smiley

I hear ya MuumiPeikko.....I have seen DT many times from right up front and it is a blast!!  But this time we opted to have a relaxing evening sitting and listening to the music.....husband and I are older fanx and standing for hours on end is just not comfortable any more.....our seats are excellent and we shall be able to see the whole band, keep up with what MM is doing on drums and have excellent sound.....that is all I need at a show!  Hope you have fun from your front row vantage...I know we will from our more sedate perspective!  Lol.....

Chant along with me:  Denver, Denver, Denver, Denver...

I realize this can't be squeezed into its natural place between SLC and Chicago, but the Texas dates are swinging back in this direction.  That would be perfect, then I could hit the SLC show in Sept and have a late Oct show in Colorado.

see what bands Live nation Schedule's in Denver, you'd be surprised what Live Nation says.

Like i said before, Live Nation admits that DT isn't "a big enough band to schedule into certain venues in certain areas." its a shame they are at the mercy of one company.

(I have the same feeling about them stopping in Portland OR, but because It does take an Entire day to drive from LA to Seattle... I understand why.)

Turns out I won't be able to go to any show on this tour, as I cannot afford it. It breaks my heart,  Sad, but I keep telling myself that there will be other DT tours.

The damn SmithTix site for the Salt Lake City show is worse than TicketBastard.  I finally gave up and threw down $275 for the M&G VIP ticket.  I wish Periphery was opening in SLC instead of Trivium.  o.k. I'm done bitching.
I wonder when they will be back in North America for the second leg.
